moab couples engagement session at fisher towers

this was my very last shoot of 2019 and i can’t imagine a better couple or a better place to cap off what was an incredible year of creative growth and connection. getting to spend time with couples in this way, in an intimate setting, usually in the outdoors, is something that i never knew i’d love so, so much. even though people always think they’ll be terrible in front of the camera, or are awkward, or are shy, by the end there’s always tons of genuine laughter and big kisses and pure, pure joy. that’s what i love. getting to experience real emotion with real people who, most of the time, i’ve only just met.

ned and laura are so incredibly kind and down to earth, i really felt like we already knew each other when they pulled up to meet me in a random parking lot outside of moab. we scooted down to one of my favorite hikes with pups for their engagement session at fisher towers. we just enjoyed a golden sunset together, exploring around the area, getting to know each other a bit better. if you’re ever coming from the east to moab, i highly recommend driving down river road and stopping at fisher towers, especially around sunset!
