i am head over heels in love with these photos! cheryl contacted me via e-mail one day and asked if i’d be willing to capture her “love of nature and somewhat absurd car camping” set up with a portrait session while she was in moab. i was so in. she and i went back and forth for a little while because she was down in zion hiking angels landing (!), but we nailed down an evening that worked for the both of us, and i took her to one of my favorite spots around moab, down a dirt road of course [(turns out she loves dirt roads ;)]. we chatted the whole ride there and i knew that i had already made a new friend.
she’s a photographer and a writer, a dreamer and a free spirit. she was in town for an all-female gathering of ladies who love to adventure and play outside (you can check in out here:Â https://andshesdopetoo.com/), so i knew we’d have a fun time just running around the edge of a canyon, talking about the beauty of this place. i just love how her adventurous spirit shines through these photos!
