canyonlands engagement session

when kayla first asked me if she could bring their two pups to their engagement session, i did my absolute best not to say in all caps, “YES PLEASE!”. i love dogs, in case you haven’t noticed. we have two pups of our own, an 11 year old yellow lab named koi and a 1 1/2 year old charcoal lab named cash. they’re full of energy and are the best kids for us.

kayla and jerad love moab. they’ve camped and explored the area a bunch and even got engaged here! the adventure session was the obvious best choice for them because they wanted to visit a few different areas and have a bunch of photos to choose from. we started in an area that i like to mountain bike in, an area where dogs were allowed and there was tons of red rock. i brought dog treats and some new toys for their pups, so i immediately had two new best friends. we ran around a bit, snapped some photos, then hiked on to our next locations.

i’ll let the photos speak for themselves here, but it was so obvious that these two are so comfortable with each other and in love, both with the landscape and with each other.

the best part?

we get to see them again. next spring. at their wedding. in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC! kayla and jerad we cannot wait to celebrate with you and dance our butts off next year! xo
