gorrono ranch wedding in telluride, co

i always feel so incredibly honored to photograph any wedding, but they are particularly special when i already have a connection with the couple. i photographed dani and sebastian’s engagement photos in moab at dead horse point last year, and i knew then that their wedding was going to be absolutely incredible. they are so loving and easygoing, plus they brought their adorable pup along for their engagements, so we were fast friends.

jump to this summer and their wedding at gorrono ranch in telluride, co. it’s pretty easy to see what makes this location so spectacular. the views from the venue are gorgeous, the building itself is the perfect setting for any size wedding, and i think my favorite part were the his and hers cabins for finishing touches getting ready and champagne toasts with your besties. or, in this case, rap album cover photos, but you’ll need to scroll down to see that one. 😉

these two didn’t cut any corners in their planning process, and it showed. everything was beautifully decorated, but not overdone. they let the landscape and location speak for itself, while adding some really fun touches of their own (they even had temporary tattoos of a photo of them at the reception – SO AWESOME). i think much of this is due to the fact that they fully embraced and enjoyed the planning process.

i think this is such a fabulous perspective to have. rather than stress about all the little things, enjoy the fact that you get to plan such an epic event surrounded around you and the one you love most.

if you do anything, make sure you check out dani’s amazing pantsuit she changed into for their dance party at the end of the evening. everyone danced their butts off, with a sparkler exit and a crazy amazing cake to finish off one of the best days of their lives. thank you so much for having me dani and sebastian! cheers to you both and a lot more bike rides together. 🙂
