canyonlands national park portraits
as i’m sure you’ll be able to tell, lucy was a total dream to take pictures of! we had so much fun chatting and exploring canyonlands national park while she and her family were out west on vacation. i loved that she thought to have her senior portraits taken while she was out in utah. i couldn’t help but think of my impressively bad senior portraits from high school (think bad hair cut, bad hair dye, bad lighting), and how i hoped she’d be able to look back on these and remember that trip with her family.
i also loved that we had twofull hours. it’s the best when i get that much time with people – they can change outfits a few times, we can go to two or three different locations, and we get to take in all that amazingggg desert light. i loved how lucy wanted to illustrate two sides of her personality for her senior portraits. she started in her hiking clothes because she loves exploring and hiking around places like canyonlands. then she switched into some super cute outfits that really highlighted her fun and creative personality.
