canyonlands national park engagements
it’s always exciting when you meet a couple for the first time the day of your session together. it can be super intimidating having someone else take your photograph for a few hours, but i always let people know that we’ll take a little hike first just to get to know each other a little better. megan & connor were so sweet and fun and easy to be around. i knew right from the very beginning that we were going to have a good time wandering around the tops of canyons together.
the light put on an epic show for us that evening. we seemed to get every single color of sunset imaginable: from purples and blues to crazy vibrant oranges and pinks, i couldn’t believe how intense the colors were!
when i delivered their gallery to them, they responded with the kindest words:
“Emily took engagement photos for my fiance and I during a recent vacation in Moab UT. I was a little nervous booking someone remotely but booking her has been our best wedding planning decision so far! She promptly answered the many questions I asked prior to our engagement session and even gave me outfit suggestions and viewed my Pinterest board to get a feel for my style. Emily arrived at our location early to scope out a brand new little spot she hadn’t been to before that turned out to be amazing! We were pretty nervous starting out but she made us feel very comfortable and confident without being the “cheesy photographer”. We received our gallery today and cannot believe how flattering and beautiful all the photos are. Emily has a knack for creating flattering poses and you will look great in your photos!”
thank you, megan & connor, and congratulations on your engagement!
