engagement photos at dead horse point

sometimes i think i love a couple’s photos, and then i deliver them, life happens, and i don’t look at them again for at least a few months. and then i love them SO much more. that’s what happened with these two. they first reached out to me last summer when they were planning a road trip throughout the southwest. they wanted some photos of the two of them to celebrate their five year anniversary. they had never had professional photos taken before (most couples haven’t!) and figured a moab roadtrip would be the perfect time to try it out. i couldn’t agree more. i think it is so, so important to have photos of you and your person that you wholeheartedly, absolutely love. the photos you look at and say, wow, that’s us. it’s my biggest personal goal as a photographer to get to be the one to take those photos for you, which is why it’s so hard to express how grateful i am when couples love their photos as much as i do.

spending time with these two was as easy as hanging with old friends. they have such a calm, comfortable love, it was really beautiful to capture them amongst a landscape i love so much. also, can we talk about brittany’s kick ass leather jacket? yeah, i love her vibe. go get some photos taken with your person on your next vacation or roadtrip, you won’t regret it.
